4 – DEMONSTRATIONS OF SUPPORT FOR THE RECENT COUP IN BURKINA FASO HAVE SHOWN SOLIDARITY WITH RUSSIA (FR)
Throughout Africa at the mass level there has been notable solidarity with Russia.
After the recent change of government in the capital Ouagadougou, the French embassy and other institutions were violently attacked by young Burkinabés carrying their national flags with that of Russia. These incidents reflect the strained relations between Paris and the African continent.
In Chad , a carnage took place with more than 500 wounded and 70 dead, by the military junta of DEBY, a puppet of France , on October 20, 2022, the day of the end of the 18 months of transition in Chad .
Peace and anti-war organizations in Western Europe and North America adopted a political line quite similar to that of the United States Department of State . The Russian Federation is seen as an aggressor while the threat of fascism and NATO enlargement is largely ignored.
However, the declining standard of living in the West can only be solved by international solidarity of the people to end all wars and exploitation by the ruling class .
